Has anyone ever had a negative hcg blood test and it was false?? 😕

Except in extremely rare cases the only way that would happen is testing too soon or the test was qualitative. A qualitative blood test has a threshold of >25 to be positive. Quantitative tests the exact amount of hcg in the blood and >5 would be positive.

Yes. I was little over 2 weeks pregnant. I had a + first response test, went to the doc, and they gave me a blood test. It was negative. I took 2 more home tests, a went back to the doc, and my blood test came back positive that time.
