I found out last week that I have 3 fibroids and my uterus is the size of 16 weeks pregnant. My period is a lot heavier the first two days then ever before but no significant pain. Doctor says if I'm not trying to conceive and no pain, I shouldn't worry and just monitor the fibroids through annual check ups. I'm 32 with no children. Somewhat worried about my reproductive future and potential for cancer. Anyone care to shed some light on the mystery that is, fibroids?
