Jasten Ariah is Here...Faith Testimony💗👶🏽👑🌟

Cristen • Wife of a Head Football Coach/Athletics Director, Mommy to 4 yo B/G twins + 1, Middle School Language Arts Teacher💁🏽🌟
Disclaimer: I'm a  believer in Jesus Christ and his word, so I truly believe my testimony may bless a mommy that's having trouble with accepting a "plan" other than the one they envisioned for their delivery, feeding option, etc. That is the hardest thing about being a new mommy IMO!
My baby girl, Jasten Ariah, came on May 11th (my actual due date), viz a failed VBAC/C-Section. My body refused to dilate at all (not even a fingertip) and my doctor and I am had always agreed on our plan of action if that were to happen. At that point, I was so ready to submit to the will of God and forgo my own "plans" in order to meet my baby girl at her healthiest. So at 12:17pm, Jasten entered the world, screaming at the top of her lungs and letting us know how she felt about being taken from her mommy before she was ready. LOL, all 6 lbs 15.4 oz and 19.5 inches of her was PERFECT!!!
We exclusively nursed up until Day 8, when I finally submitted again to my gut feeling that she was not getting enough breastmilk (likely due to my breast reduction in 2004). At her pediatric check-up, my fears were confirmed and my husband and I decided formula was our best route for a happy and healthy baby (AND MOMMY)! After a full day in formula (Gerber Good Start Gentle), Jasten is doing wonderfully and seems sooo much more content. She's now the gentle and sweet spirit I always felt from her in the womb. Although I will miss nursing her, I know it is for the best and that God will never leave us nor forsake us. I claim it in Jesus Name! My family is now complete! My Husband, 4 yo B/G twins and Jasten are the "FabFive"!!! Jayce, Jayli and Jasten are the BEST parts of me!!
