How did you explain different dads?

Okay so how did you ladies explain to your little ones that the baby will have a different dad to your kid ?

Just thought this would be a good way to help people in this situation please explain how you managed to tell your child and did they accept it? Ask lots of questions? Or just understood and never mentioned it again?

I think it depends on the age. I have one from a previous relationship and I don't plan on having another any time soon (also not in a relationship to have a kid with someone else lol), but if it were to happen I would make it age appropriate. I was 7-9 when my parents had new babies with their new spouses. There wasn't really any need to explain; we just kinda new that mommy and stepdad were having a baby and dad and stepmom were having a baby. If the child(ren) is/are old enough to understand that the SO isn't their dad/mom it really isn't hard to explain bc there isn't much to explain. "Mommy and your daddy made you. Mommy and ______ made the new baby." Obviously every circumstance is different.
