Do I want another kid?

I'm married and I have a four year old daughter, I'm 25 years old and I work with horses for a living, my husband wants another kid , but me not so much?.any advice

I'm 34, and I had my first and only baby at age 26. Neither me or my fiancé wanted another, at that time, so I started Depo Provera. About two years ago, something just changed for me. Maybe my age? Idk. But I felt bad, initially, because we had both agreed that one was enough. I felt like I was breaking our deal, but at the same time, my feelings about having another child were so strong that if he didn't want to, it was a deal breaker for our relationship. He was with me on it. Yay! Lol. You don't have to make any long-term choices right now. You may feel differently down the road...or you may not. Don't do anything that you aren't 100% sure of. You still have time to cultivate your career, and then have another baby later on. I would just leave the door open to it for later discussion, unless you feel strongly otherwise. If you don't want another child at the moment, please don't do it.  You may or may not change your mind, but you wouldn't want to end up resenting your SO or your child.  I think both people should be 100% on the same page either way regarding kids, and if you're not and do get pregnant it may cause a lot of issues.  Your body, your choice! :)

When I had my first child I didn't want another one for 6-7 years. We were young busy with work and school hobbies, etc. then I realized that one day my child would be alone in this world if I didn't give him a sibling. Even growing up with a sibling is so much richer I feel than growing up alone, the bonds they have, everything the good and the bad. Like the silly fights, it's all part of life growing up with sibs. Anyhow now I have three children and it's the best decision I ever made, they have each other, we have each other. It's a completely different outlook. I regret not having one more. Well I might if I still can :)

Personally I think kids are like pets in that they do better and are healthier if you get two. Pets are also EASIER if you get two, but I'm not sure if that applies to kids... :p
