Amniotic fluid decreased?

Question

Anyone else? Went for a scan a week apart and fluid is 6 cm lower, the sonographer asked if my waters were leaking? (They've not been) anyone else experience this? I'm booked for another scan in 5 days. I'm 35 weeks by the way. The sonographer said waters do peak about 36 weeks and then start declining after 36 weeks so maybe I'm just doing this early?

Same happened to me at my 35 week ultrasound. She said they liked the fluid to be between 5-25 but the higher the better and I was at a 6! So they told me to drink a lot of water and the next week they'd check it again and if it didn't increase they would do tests but thankfully it went up to 11

Another scan in 5 days. A 6 is very dangerous for baby. I had this with my last and mine was a 7.5 they sent me to hospital and got IV fluids to bring the fluid back up. I had to do this two times before baby was born. I was also put on bed rest and checked weekly. But a 6 is considered danger. Normal is from 10-20 you need to speak with doctor ASAP about this.

With my first I was induced at 38.5 because of low fluids... Normal is between 10-20. The fluid is their oxygen... If they don't have much bad things can happen.
