IKEA Cribs?

Question

Does anyone have any good or bad reviews on the cribs and mattresses from Ikea? They're a LOT cheaper than furniture from the bigger baby retailers, but I want to make sure I'm not sacrificing my baby's safety for cheapness.
Thoughts? Thanks in advance! :)

I love mine!!! Bought one and built it and it's very sturdy! It's got drawers underneath it too.

I personally don't think you should buy one, the furniture is cheaper because the quality of their furniture is very cheap..

We bought the sundvik set. We haven't set it up yet but we did go to Ikea to look at everything. It seemed very sturdy to me & I love the look of it. I also love that the bed turns into a toddler bed. I didn't think it was necessary to get one that changes into a twin then full size. We were definitely surprised at how reasonably priced everything was. I would never put my baby in something I thought was made with cheap materials. There are laws regarding how cribs have to be made so I feel comfortable buying from them. I didn't get a mattress from there because I thought they were too soft. Hope this helped! Good luck.

I got a crib from ikea. My baby isn't born yet. But we like it so far. It's pretty big, the mattress they sell there is super soft, and I like how you can make it a bed when the baby gets a little older.
