Mom - ADVICE NEEDED - am I overreacting?
So my mom lives in seatlle and I live in New Jersey. We have planned all along for her to be out here for the birth (I am 36 +1 now).
She flew out last week and was planning on staying until he is born (staying at my place, my MIL, and my sisters). we planned on breaking the visit up since 4-5 weeks can be a long time with your mom!
Well today she told me she no longer wants to stay at my MIL or my sisters empty apartment (in Manhattan!!) and going to fly back home. She said she would rather be at home and potentially miss the birth than put up with a few days here and there at my MIL or sisters empty apartment.
I have zero family out here and really hurt that she can't compromise for a little bit out here. Am I overreacting and maybe just all these hormones?? 😥
