A little rant and a little worry

Kamie
So I will try to make this short- I started my pregnancy at a BMI of about 39 or 40, which I am not proud of but it is down from 50 five years ago so I have to live my life a bit and we really wanted a child. I am now 35 weeks and have had a pretty healthy pregnancy. I have gained about 15 pounds total and have had no issues with gestational diabetes, preeclampsia, etc. I went to my last ultrasound three days ago and everything looked normal. My baby is in the 53rd percentile and amniotic fluid looks great they said. So my doctor called today and left me a message saying everything was normal but I needed to start twice weekly antenatal testing in another week. Sounds like they want to do a NST and a BPP. I am guessing this is still bc of my BMI, but everything online refers to this if you have high-risk pregnancies, gd, preeclampsia, etc. Does anyone have anything similar going on? I am just frustrated that because of weight I put on 10 years ago and have struggled with, I still end up feeling ashamed with my body that seems to be doing what it is supposed to. End rant.
