Primrose Oil

So, Sunday I will be 37 weeks. My doctor said that we could try self inducing now since I am considered full term. My mom bought me evening primrose oil, and I was just wondering if it is OK to take my first dose vaginally tonight even though I am not exactly 37 weeks yet. Need help ladies!! Don't wanna hurt my little man!
