Should breast feeding be pain free?

I know that it hurts during the first few sucks, but afterwards should it just be pain free?

Yes. Took nearly two months for it to become pain free for me though.

It should be pain free. Just feels like tugging. If possible get in touch with a lactation consultant to help you with your latch! It makes and instant huge difference!

Took me a couple weeks before it was totally pain free but you'll get there!!

Yea it took two weeks w my first and 1 week w my second for it to be pain free- if it still hurts the latch isn't rigt
