Swelling after birth?

I had some swelling in my feet and ankles during my pregnancy. But once I left work and was able to sit down it had completely gone away. Three days after delivery and my feet have ballooned up significantly. Anyone else have this problem? Is this normal?

Yes! My feet and ankles were swollen until 10 days PP and my whole body felt swollen for a couple of weeks

My swelling hasn't gone away yet and I'm one week pp. So frustrating!  I still have to wear slippers because that's all that fits!

Yes. Me too. They were more swollen than during pregnancy. Even my legs felt like balloons when I'd bend them. Walking helped. It was gone by the time I left the hospital- 4 days (c section).

I would ask the Dr. Yesterday I read an article that said women can still get preeclampsia after child birth up to 2 weeks. Just to be on the safe side.

Yes, happened to me too. It's common to swell in the feet after birth and it will go away. No worries!
