Not sure if I want a baby

My boyfriend of two years had always told me he never wanted to get married or have kids, I was fine with that, but as we stay together longer it makes me want a family together. We actually got our first dog together two months ago. Now he mentions that when we buy a house it had to have extra rooms in case "accidents" happen. This gives me hope that maybe someday we will have a family together.. Any thoughts?
