Decreased movement...?

The last week I've been feeling babe fairly regularly.  Since Yesterday though I haven't felt him/her at all. I am 18 weeks with #2. I am curious if anyone has been to the hospital for this and what your experience was like? Was it a waste of time?

Im 17+3 and also have days with lots of movements and others with close to none. I think the more I move the less baby does. 
When I get worried, i usually lay down and put my hand flat on my stomach and press down a bit. After a while of pressing right and left I usually get a "ok Mommy I'm fine!" kick back. 
I agree with the others, trust your insctinct and call the doc if you are worried.

I'm not sure if babies have a pattern to there Movement at this point. I'm 17 weeks 3 days and I feel baby move but it's not regular and always at different times. If your worried ring your midwife and remember to always trust your instinct x

I had that happen last week but I was having alot of cramping as well so I went to the Dr and had everything checked and my bundle of joy was okay. They told me that sometimes I will go a few days without feeling movement but it was good to know for certain though.
