Last two today! Words of encouragment?

I have two cigarettes in my pack. I've been working on cutting down and today I decided will be my last day. any words of encouragment?! Really hoping this goes well!

I quit over two months ago and will not look back not only am I helping baby I am helping myself to live longer for my baby lets face it smoking is paying for something to kill you slowly....you can do it I'm not saying it's not hard but if I can so anyone can!!!

I did the same thing about a month before I found out I was pregnant I decided my last pack would be my last pack I thought it would be so hard but once I decided that was what I was going to do I stuck with it I'm now at 20 weeks pregnant and haven't had a cigarette since don't get me wrong I think about it but never to the point where I decide to buy another pack enough is enough that's what you just have to tell yourself this isn't about you any more. The Cravings will come but once you conquer 1 craving then another then another then another by the time you know it a week 2 weeks a month has passed by it becomes easier! Good Luck

I'm 18 weeks and I have been trying to quit since I found out I have cut my intake down a whole lot but I can't just not have one especially wjrnbi first wake up I want one I really want to stop but it's so hard but I no it's no good for my baby and trust me I love my baby more then theses cigarettes but sometimes I feel like I can't go without one on top of that I'm hiding them from my bd cuz I told him I stop hopefully soon I will

Good luck! I don't smoke myself, but my boyfriend does & he's trying to stop for the baby, but the struggle is REAL, wow. You can do it! Just keep the end in sight. Good luck!

I've never smoked a day in my life and I don't come from a smoker family. I know that people who smoke know how horrible it is for their body, and obviously that it is much much much worse for their baby. BUT, I also know that we are all human and as long as you are doing the best thing for your baby, I can support that!!! Great job with the positivity of quitting and I KNOW you WILL do it!!! All you have to do is think about your precious little one every time you get the slightest urge. Millions of people have quit and so can you! You're almost there!! Also, I hope you kick it forever, for the sake of your child's health while they are growing up. You are strong and congratulations on the pregnancy. I hope it all goes very well for you 😊👍🏼

It may be hard, but it is SO worth it. I quit officially around 7-8 weeks, mostly because they were nauseating. (Which is kind of a win in my eyes) at 18+6 I occasionally get a craving, but knowing my girl is healthy and smoke free makes a world of a difference.

Words of encouragement? Eh...
Envision yourself, baby is now 16 years old and you're sitting him/her down to tell her that you have lung cancer and the doctor has given you 7 months max. Envision their face. Their panic. Their distraught horrified realization that their mother won't be there to watch them graduate high school. Won't be there to send them to college, or watch them graduate. Won't be there at their wedding. Won't ever meet their own children. Imagine how bad they will struggle. How much they will miss you, every single one of those important days in their life. They will cry themselves to sleep for months if not years.

Then look at those last 2 cigs and say,  "nah, I'm better than that"

It wasn't hard at all to quit and I've been smoking 7+ years. I have asthma bc my mom smoked while pregnant with me. Every time you take a drag your baby gasps for air. Just quit.
