When can I get back to exercise?

I forgot to ask my OB when I can get back to my routine! Been doing lots of walking and heard general rule of thumb is 6 weeks. Curious what others have heard from their OB!

I did a little walking once I had the energy after having my baby. It helped with the swelling. As for actual workouts, my baby was 7 weeks old when I started off super slow. At 8 weeks I started running again. It just took me that long to feel good and not still have random pubic bone aches.

Did you just have a baby? Is that why you're asking? If so its probably going to depend on your labor. For what I know walking is fine but wait until your 6 week check up to get the okay. I tore really bad during labor and had to wait a few more weeks to start lifting. I hope this answers your question.
