Can you feel your eggs being fertilized?

Question

I just got married last weekend and my most "fertile" days were Tuesday through Thursday. My husband and I did not use protection and I am not on birth control. Friday night and Saturday my right ovary felt tight and achy as if I was about to start my period. I'm not supposed to start until April 16th. I know it's too early to tell, but could I be pregnant?!

I think it would be almost impossible to feel the egg being fertilised as the egg is not attached to your ovary it is loose so therefore no nerve endings connected to your body .its minuscule the egg and the speem even tinier . It's most likely post ovulation twinges and hormones switching from estrogen to progesterone after ovulation

Thank you both. And yes my ovulation was during those times. Everything aligned perfectly. Then pain came this weekend. Only lasts for about 2min but comes in cycles.

Are you sure you ovulated in the times you stated (checked with OPKs and temps)? It's possible it was an ovulation pain. Some women cramp as they release their egg.
