Is it too late BBT?

I found my BBT. My SO and I got it before we started trying, but I found it tedious as I wake up throughout the night and wasn't sure if I could have accurate results. I am 1DPO. Any point to start tracking it now or wait for next cycle?

You only need 3 to 4 hours of consecutive sleep in order to get an accurate reading regardless of waking up during the night just make sure you temp at the same time in the morning some articles I've read say 4 hours of sleep but my doctor told me it would be plenty accurate with only 3

You can start temping anytime. But consider it practice until the next full cycle as you won't be able to interpret the data. Especially if you're certain you've already ovulated since that's all bbt is going to tell you.

Definitely wait until next cycle no point in starting now as it is the pattern that matters and not the individual Temps also if you had a hard time seeing a pattern last time I would definitely recommend temping vaginally when I switched it made all the difference and I finally understood why women swear by temping there was no question I had ovulated what DPO I was excetera excetera

You could start this cycle to get in the habit and to start seeing your patterns. I Started after ovulation last cycle and kept going through this cycle. Now that I'm a 7dpo I find myself checking last months chart to compare to this one.
