Hey there!🤗

My husband and I are 17 weeks with our first. Naturally everyone is excited to want to know the gender ASAP! Personally I don't want to know the gender until the birth, however everyone is pressuring me and giving me reasons to want to know that I feel aren't valid for them to know! 🙄

Reasons:
"We won't know what to buy"😑
"I want to know so I can start buying stuff"😒
"I want to know so we can give you stuff that our kids didn't get a chance to wear"🙄

I feel some get so caught up in immediate answers now that they pressure others terribly. Am I wrong for wanting to keep our child's gender an intimate/anticipated moment between my husband and I? 😥

I don't think your wrong.. I would just say keep to colours that's are pink or boy and I am sure if they have stuff from there children they would like to give you.. they have held onto then this long what's another couple of months gunna harm 😊.. stick by your guns yoir carrying the baby and you deserve a suprise if that's what you want x

I don't think so, it's your pregnancy and your child so you get to decide if you find out the gender or not.  Don't let them pressure you, there are lots of gender neutral baby clothes/items they can buy.

No way! That is something so special and you should definitely keep it a surprise for you and your husband if that is what you guys want to do :) everyone can do it their own way but this is your guys baby so don't let them make you change your mind.

No way! I wish I had the patience to wait to find out at delivery. I think it would be so fun! I'm just so damn nosey... 😂 Just tell them to wait to buy gifts after baby comes. They're just excited- and probably a lot like me (having to know everything!). Good luck!

We announced at the shower because we didn't want a ton of clothes and pink/blue stuff. It worked out well!

That is completely your choice and you should not let them pressure you. They can always give/buy things after the baby is born if it's THAT important to them. Many couples don't find out for their first one either. 
Personally I think it's so cool that you aren't finding out. I'm too much of a control freak/planner, so I found out as soon as they would let me. Good for you for making it special

We aren't finding out and also getting pressure but this is a big deal. How many times do you get to experience that one moment in the delivery room? I don't care how it effects everyone else to be honest. We're really set on leaving it a surprise.

I don't think your wrong for not wanting to tell anyone and if they really want to buy stuff tell them to go with colors like green, yellow, orange, or any color really except blue or pink !!! 💙👣💖👣
