Where you ever given a reason for why your IUI or IVF cycle did not work? What was it? Did they try to do anything different the next time?

No, never any reason. First IUI was unmedicated, second I got 8 follicles with one ovary but only 4 were good sizes. Third I started with two cysts but doubled my Femara dose for bigger eggs. I got 2 good follicles and 1 bleh. Waiting on the results. Only halfway thru this 2ww.

Never given a reason for failed Ivf and iui but got pregnant naturally at 41 and now at 43 (5w 4d) today. This time around I took cq10 and used pre seed one time. I got pregnant as the scan shows everything how it should be. Baby dust ladies x I am in oz

I was on Clomid and after the first failed iui he told me that it was normal and that it usually takes after the third time to work and he was right third time it worked and thank god I got pregnant ?? wishing the best of luck I know it's frustrating

For my firat iui i was not given a reason why it dodnt work... They told me it happens.. I did my second last saturday and they put the "tube thingy" higher up. That was the pnly change. Now is waiting time!! Good luck to you all.

Same here I had 2 failed iuis n a failed ivf in October which was really disappointing the drs said everything looks great whole time. Dr said it prob had chromosome or genetic prob. It helps to read a book bout ivf to understand it better instead of going in it blindly which I did it will help u understand it n maybe b less upset check out ivfauthority.com for info about ivf failures n it helps to read a good book on ivf to understand it better.

I don't have a diagnosis and mt doctor says we are both healthy. But my ivf did not go well at all and I was left very puzzled and basically destroyed. He said to me that different stim meds can cause different effects and we just have to keep going until we find the perfect egg... Baby dust to you

With my IUIs I was told their was probably something wrong with my tubes. After several attempts of doing an HSG we found out one of my tubes was blocked. We did 3 iuis with no success. We did IVF and we found out I had polyps in my uterus, they were removed and i got pregnant.

Yeah- “you are too old, your eggs are not good”. When in reality, first ivf failed due to embies got fragmented because a doctor overdose me with meds. Second ivf failed again due to overdose. Third ivf failed due to negligence of embryologists, they did not check temp in incubator and my embies got boiled in hot solution. Multiple iui failed simply because of wrong timing. They run tests in the morning, then call you next day, then you schedule appointment for iui but it is too late, ovulation already happened.

No, unexplained infertility. 6 IUIs and 3 IVFs, fibroid removal after 4th IUI. 1 MC at wk 9 through IVF #2.
