Why are there so many horror stories of women getting pregnant on the pill when it's supposed to be 99% effective?

Because everyone uses it 100% correctly and just HAPPENS to be that .01% that it doesn't work for.

Because it is taken incorrectly. Unless you are personally monitoring them taking it everyday, don't always believe it. The pill works. It wouldn't be one of the most popular types of bc if it didn't.
