Unwanted people at hospital

Does anyone know how to deal with unwanted guests at hospital..? I am wanting to keep people updated via texts and favebook, but I'd really like to keep my delivery pretty private until my LO gets here safely. I have a lot of in laws and friends that are talking about staying at the hospital all night waiting and that just makes me feel uncomfortable.. Does anyone have a method of dealing with this without coming off as rude?
