Convertible or infant car seat?

Any good brands for Convertible Car Seats? Your experience if you have used one since the beginning? 
I am having baby number two and we have been thinking about getting a convertible car seat right away instead of an infant one. With my first born we got tired easily getting the infant car seat in and out of the car all the time and now with our second baby on the way and having a two year old we aren't too sure if an infant car seat is a good idea...

Get the convertible car seat. Infant seats are a waste. I've used a britax boulevard click tight from birth and it's been a great seat. I'll be purchasing another one for the next baby.

We got this one for our little girl! Perfect I love it it's beautiful and very comfortable:) it comes is so many colors and best of all the price is so unbeatable!

I'm going with a convertible this go around.  I had an infant seat for my first and then had to buy a convertible when she out grew her carrier and then had to buy her booster (she is 6 now). I'm skipping all those steps and getting the Graco 4-ever all in one.  It's rated 5lbs-120lbs. So from birth till middle school lol

My sister bought one because she didn't want to use the infant car seat and when she deliver and was about to put the baby in the car seat the nurses told her no she needed to get a infant car seat or baby couldn't leave the hospital, due to her insurance she was able to get one from the hospital
