Sore breasts.

So my period is now four days late I've taken a test and it said negative but I've had extremely sore breasts for the past month. My period was late last month but eventually came with the soreness of my breasts going away. I'm worried I don't have PCOS and my periods are usually on time does anyone know what this means? Help I really need some guidance!!
