Anybody else looking for a new job while pregnant?

If so, do you tell them right away? Do you hide it for a bit? I'm only 6 weeks so not close to showing but will need to start interviewing for a new school job this summer. Wasn't sure the best way to navigate that topic!

I would never tell a job until my probation period is up. There is no reason they need to know and I wouldn't want to miss an opportunity because they believe pregnancy is debilitating or something.

They shouldn't be mad or upset after all they knew when they hire any female in the right age range that pregnancy is a possibility.

I wouldn't tell a job till I'm at least 3 months along.
Some places don't want to hire pregnant women.  
Besides being pregnant doesn't keep you from being able to work pretty much any job. 
I'm right at 6 weeks myself and I still work. 
Being active is the best thing you can do for you and baby. 
Not saying you won't need your rest too but your body will tell you when to rest.

I'm currently looking for a job with better benefits. TRS AETNA is a waste of my money. I won't be telling any of the potential employers that I am pregnant. I feel they would pass me up for another candidate just bc I'm preggo.

No but I accepted a position at a new school (I'm a teacher) two weeks before I conceived.  I'm struggling with when and how do I tell my new principal? august 29 is when we report to work and I will be 21 weeks and clearly pregnant.

I'm applying right now and have been for 2 months now and I'm an RN. I'm 8 weeks and a day today but I have a couple of interviews lined up. I'm not going to tell anyone until I'm at least like 4 months or so. I had an ex coworker ask me why I'm applying if I am pregnant.  Jobs are looking for people to actually work.  This mindset many people have. That just because we're pregnant, we are paralyzed. There are many insensitive people in the workplace. I would just keep it to yourself until you are comfortable telling them. That's what I'm going to do.

I am looking for a job and I think it will take few weeks and I am already 7 week so not sure what will happen when I will start showing up .so fingers crossed😞

I'm in the same boat. I was just recently hired -like a week ago- in kindergarten and I didn't know if I should bring up that fact that I'm pregnant or not... I didn't and I'm now almost 7 weeks. I would hope a school of all places would understand that teachers want to start families.
