How many of each size?

Hi, so im a ftm and just starting to think about stocking up on a few nappies... I am finding it quite confusing with all of the sizes though!

How many packs of each size do you think??

I would buy a pack of nb but instead of buying diapers get a piggy bank and put the money in there and name it pamper money this way you can buy the size needed and not worry about baby outgrowing them

You won't need as many newborn sizes as you'll need 3-6 and 6-9 months. Babies grow very fast

Instead of stockpiling I would just get a box of newborn and a pack or two of size one to have on hand for the first month then just buy a box as needed before you run out. This way you don't have 15 boxes of a brand your baby may be allergic to or one that doesn't work well because then you would have to make a ton of returns and you won't have to worry about having too much of the wrong size if you don't buy in bulk. It's not like you won't be getting out of the house to go grocery shopping or running errands. That's just me though.

It depends. My son used one box of size 2. He grew so fast. Now he is 9 months and in a size 5 because he has a belly.

I know a lot of people say not to get a lot of NB (that is what I was told...) but my daughter was born at 6lb 11oz and left the hospital at 5lb 15oz and is 5weeks old now and still in NB. I stocked up on all 1s, 2s and 3s but we had to go out and get a bunch of NBs and we're still in them. It's real hard to judge and I wouldn't get a ton unless they're on sale because you may run into an issue like we did. I'd probably say 5-10 of each size up to 3 to start.

This will be my second baby. I'll probably get the same number I did last time.

I'm gonna get 5 packs of nb, 10 packs of size 1, and 15 packs of size 2.

I usually donate diapers, I don't open to my local head start or resource center for moms, who need them.
