I'm almost 37 weeks pregnant. Last week I went into L&D for stomach pains and they found protein in my urine sample, my blood pressure was also slightly high. My doctors appointment before that, my BP was very high but they found no protein. Today they found even more protein in my urine and my BP was pretty high again. My doctor wants to wait until next week to do a 24 hour urine catch to really confirm. Should I be worried? Should I just be going to another doctor since he wants me to wait? Preeclampsia runs in my husbands side of the family but not mine. I'm starting to get a little concerned.
