According to LMP I should be 10 weeks today. I hadn't had any spotting or cramping. So today we go out hiking and about 5 km up the mountain I feel a gush like I've just peed myself a bit and that freaked me out a bit and then I felt more and reached down to see if it was coming through my pants and then saw red on my fingers. Ugh. We were hiking with a friend of mine and her boyfriend and she didn't know I was pregnant. At first I kept hiking but then told my husband I was bleeding and then obviously we had to tell my friend what was happening. So then we had to hike back down and went to the nearest hospital and got blood taken and got examined and that was all fine. It was a small hospital and it's a holiday today and they said they couldn't do an ultra sound so we had to drive to the hospital closer to home to get the ultrasound. The doctor found the heart beat so hopefully it will be okay. My appointment for what was supposed to be my first ultrasound is on Friday, so I should find out how far along I really am then. Definitely not the day I thought I was going to have!
