Have you ever accidentally dropped your baby?

Have you ever accidentally dropped your baby? Mother's aren't perfect and I've heard stories about parents dropping their baby on accident while the parent is sleeping. I'm having my baby soon and I keep having nightmares about this.

As bad as it sounds, my son has rolled out of my bed once and then one time my fiancé and I were playing video games and my son crawled over my leg and as I went to grab him he lunged forward and off the bed he went. Baby's are strong little humans.

I was a single mom with my son he was is my first and so far only child one time when he was a baby I turned around to crab his cloths and he rolled off. My couch:( luckily my couch was very low so he didn't even cry but I felt soooo bad ;( I was sitting right beside him so before someone rude comments no I didn't leave him on the couch alone

I never DROPPED my son but he did roll off the couch/bed a few times. Onto carpet and was totally fine but I felt awful.

I've dropped my neice, thank good I was sitting down, she was 8 months, but I still feel bad about it til this very day 😭😭 she's almost 2 😭

I'm having twins and every time I think about bringing them to work to show them off a thought pops into my head what if I drop one? Honestly I'll probably have them in the stroller but still a fear of mine 😱

My sister inlaw is a labor and delivery nurse. One of the first hospitals she worked at they had a rule that they weren't allowed to take baby back to nursery or put them down. The mom was forced to hold the baby for a few hours right after child birth (no matter how exhausted they were). She said new moms would drop the baby out of their arms while they were sleeping all the time, some actually died from hitting the floor. That's the reason she left that hospital.
