Possible miscarriage due to stress?

Hey guys, I found out I was pregnant went to the doctor to confirm and all that jazz 2 days later my husband totaled my car and the next day I started heavily bleeding. I'm still waiting for my hcg levels to come back from the doc but I'm 99%positive I'm miscarrying. Do y'all think it's positive it happened bc of high stress? I'm really bummed :(

I'm so sorry. Try not to worry about what caused it. Hard cud b stress but cud just b body rejected it for whatever unknown reason. It's hard. Hang in there. I had a MC Jan 25th and it was hard I asked dr is it because I flew on a air plane or rode a bus that drove like a psycho or bc I was running to answer phone or stressed bc my job was stressful n I'm away from husband n kids (I got pregnant on leave). And he said it wasn't my fault n sat there reassuring me until I believed it. I now believe it just wasn't the right time n it would have been extremely difficult but I still am sad bout losing baby at times. It's not ur fault life happens n we don't know why at times we MC. Hugs

I'm sorry for your loss! Something I heard that's helped my anxiety levels is this: if it was that easy to cause a miscarriage, there wouldn't be abortion clinics. Unless you've had recurrent miscarriages, the most likely cause is that there was something developmentally or chromosomally wrong with that embryo. Your body is just doing it's job. I know it's hard but thinking of it that way helped me when I had a chemical preg. Good luck hun!
