It's all about relaxation honestly, if you are completely relaxed then it can feel amazingly good, if you are tensed then yes it can be painful and very very uncomfortable. I let my bf do it but I have to be in the mood for it

It depends on the person, but for me it's a NO.  My husband and I haven't tried and we aren't going to. I'm a tiny person and my husband is huge.

It's not painless. Even if you're experienced it's going to feel a little weird and you're going to have discomfort. If you use tons and tons and tons of lube then it's amazing! It's probably my favorite actually. You just have to prepare yourself for it. And don't ever use desensitizing lube! You need to know if it's causing pain because you could be ripping!!!
