Lunch meat??

What's your honest thoughts about lunch meats? I really want a ham sandwich..

Get some reputable ham from the grocery store and eat that sandwich! When was the last time lunch meat was recalled for Lysteria? It seems like frozen veggies are a much bigger gamble than lunch meat as of late.

I have literally not changed my diet since becoming pregnant. 33w1d and we're both healthy.

I'll also add that in the first and second trimester I was literally addicted to jimmy johns. Pregnant or not, there's ALWAYS a risk of bacteria in your food. But it's extremely uncommon nowadays, and thus uncommon that a pregnant woman would end up sick from it.

I loved sandwiches, I could of eat them morning, afternoon and night. But ever since I got pregnant, I can't stand meat. I did have bit of steak once, very well done. Something about meat, it just doesn't agree with me anymore, my body rejects it.  😕

My SIL got severe food poisoning from a sandwich and she was admitted in the ER for dehydration. It's just a matter of being careful, you can have it just best it up to kill any bacteria.

You can have anything that has been cooked like ham. But don't have cured meats like Parma ham, salami or chorizo

I was always so paranoid to eat lunch meat, and of course I craved a ham and cheese sandwich all the time. I'm 40+1 and have eaten lunch meat here and there, just never over did it. You'll be fine!

My mid wife said get deli meat. I have to have it to get my protien in so she said the best way is deli. And other than that I can heat it

I've eaten lunch meat my entire pregnancy. And I'm 31 weeks. :) enjoy!
