Clomid?

Question

I've been tcc for 2 months, which isn't long at all. I have PCOS, doctor said l suggested starting metformin and clomid starting next cycle and prescribed progestogen for this cycle. Having a  HSG test after my next period. Not sure if I should start clomid right away or wait, it seem to soon to be so drastic. Thoughts?

I only tried for four months naturally, got a blood test done to diagnose PCOS, and we started Clomid! Didn't even do hcg. I was surprised too, but we are willing to do anything for baby :)

My regular Ob prescribed me two rounds of clomid. I only got an HSG after regular ob referred me to a RE. So prescribing clomid isn't a drastic thing before having a HSG. Besides, if you take it & it's successful you will not need an HSG.

With PCOS it's common to get it earlier since many women with it don't ovulate on their own. But if you feel like it's too soon, talk to your dr and make a plan that works for you at a pace you are more comfortable with.

Ur Dr prescribed clomid? Where r u from? I can't get that from my dr!!! I've been ttc for 18 months now and getting nowhere! I'd take everything I can get!!!
