Sharing my birth story about my angel

My birth story is kind of long, so I'll post the link to my blog with my entire story, but last month I was forced to deliver my son at 21w6d. After a week of severe back pain, I was diagnosed with severe preeclampsia in which I developed hellp syndrome. I urge you, if you are not aware of the symptoms of either, please look it up on the preeclampsia.org website. I was pretty much told that if I didn't deliver within a few days that I'd be dead. My son was born on 4/9/16 at 11:02 pm weighing 12.6 oz and, was 10 inches long. He was born with a heartbeat and took a few breaths but ultimately was just too small and under developed to survive. I'm just sharing my story to help raise awareness to this horrible complication that is deadly not only to mothers but to babies as well.
