To vaccinate or not to vaccinate?

So much controversy.  What's your opinion? Suggestion?

There's no controversy, it's irresponsible not to vaccinate without a medical reason. Just do it.

I think vaccinations are super important. I don't like the recommended vaccination schedule so I use Dr. Sears vaccination schedule. Basically, we go every month for shots so she isn't getting 3-5 in one visit. I think that not vaccinating is putting kids that are too young to be vaccinated or have a medical reason that they can't be vaccinated at risk. They should be protected by herd immunity.

I think everyone should vaccinate.. why should my child have to suffer/ get sick (i.e measles, whopping cough) because someone won't vaccinate their child !

No. No controversy. Just do it.

Vaccinate your kids. End of story. If you or your child cannot be vaccinated for medical reasons it's different, but too many people either opt out or are on a delayed schedule. My brother and sister in law aren't vaccinating their newest child and I won't let them come to visit us anymore or once the my baby is born in September. Also anyone who recently visited them in the last week to two weeks isn't allowed over because they could be carrying germs or disease and not know it. I am not risking my newborn or any immune compromised friends health and safety because someone doesn't understand how important vaccines are. My friends daughter can't be vaccinated because of a medical condition and I'm not going to risk her health to make someone else feel okay about their choice to endanger other people and children's health.
