Any military families stationed in Fort Carson???

Question

Ft. Carson is an option for our next duty Station and I've heard good things. Our PCS isn't for another year and a half, and our baby will be about 15 months old when we move. How is it living there? Do you love it, hate it? Pros, cons?

Fort Carson Colorado? I've never lift at Ft Carson but I grew up in CO and it is literally the best place in the US. something to do for every type of person, perfect summer weather, great ski season, couldn't say a bad thing about the place!

We are stationed at fort Carson at the moment and love Colorado but hate Fort Carson itself.. We can't wait to pcs next summer! But here is so much to do it's awesome. A little advice would be to not move on post. They take all your BAH and its crappy housing. We live off post in fountain and get definitely nicer housing and better quality living for our money :)
