What do you like best about FF and Kindara?

Hi ladies -

I am pushing for some serious - and much needed - updates to Glow's bbt chart. I cannot help but notice that most of the bbt charts posted on Glow are from Kindara and Fertility Friend. If you use either of these apps, I would love to hear your thoughts on what makes their charts better than ours. Please be as specific as possible.

What do they provide that we do not?

I use Fertility Friend. What I like about is the clear charting of temps in one screen rather than having to scroll to the right to see the pattern of the temps as I have to do on Glow. Glow never gives me a cover line which Fertility Friend does. Also on Glow my ovulation day is always the day after my positive OPk when Fertility Friend will only confirm ovulation after charting for more than three days after a higher temp. I also really like the Fertility Friend feature that allows you to see charts like your by selecting different points (like intercourse pattern). Hope this helps!

Everything is on one chart on FF which is super helpful, and it shows the date of ovulation based on my temperature patterns together with CM and OPK data.

Um everything? It's user friendly and the same coverline doesn't move when I scroll
Up or down. Also I can see my entire cycle in one screen. And it shows a better graph where you can clearly see a .2 degree rise or fall in temp. Glow looks like a jagged horizontal line.

Fertility friend is simple and straight forward. It's easy to read and takes the guess work out of it. Their algorithm seems to be pretty spot on. Their forums and tutorials are fantastic too. You can download the app and learn everything there is to know about temping with clear instructions. I also love the galleries of user charts.

I really like how the chart looks in Kindra. It's all there in a clear and easy to read graph, colour coded for each type of CM, and temps are clear over the top of the same chart. So it's very obvious and clear to see that days of EWCM and a temp rise together is ovulation.

I think glow should do a coverline it would be much more useful. Some people don't understand bbt charting more info would be useful through the insights via the bbt chart

I use FF, Kindara, and Ovia in addition to Glow. For a chart to glance at, I think Kindara's is the best. It gives a great visual overview of where you are in your cycle.

Specifically, I really like Kindara's representation of CM. CM info is only shown for the selected day in Glow, so you can't see patterns. Ovia has weird icons, also not great. FF's letters are OK, since fertile types are highlighted in green, but Kindara's bar chart is the best, to me. Days with BD are also marked much more prominently than the tiny hearts in Glow.

FF's best feature to me is the advanced analysis. If I want to study my completed charts with all their data, FF is the place to do it.

I like that FF takes into account your cervical fluid patterns as well as BBT to pinpoint ovulation, not just increased temps as Glow seems to do. Also, on FF the circles will not be filled in if the time or temp seems to be off, so you can easily tell that the filled-in circles are most accurate. I also like how it organizes one cycle's chart in a single picture, rather than an entire continuous BBT line as Glow does. Glow is always usually wrong about my ovulation day, too. It says I ovulate after the clear sustained thermal shift. FF says I ovulate right before the shift.

I honestly just like glow. I tried those apps out and they weren't for me. Seemed a little confusing and I don't care to look at charts. Glow does everything perfect for me.
