Readers Digest version of my birth story.

So, I arrived at the hospital at 7:15 this morning. Didn't get a room until 9 or after. Started Pitocin at 10am. Doc came in and broke my water at 12:15 and after much MUCH thought which then turned to misery and suffering lol, I decided on epidural. Awesome nurse checked me, I was 4-5 cm dilated. She got me ready and the anesthesiologist (who was my childhood pediatricians son) came and got that put in... Nurse checked me again right after and I was dilated 9.5cm. So, before I was numb, I had to push. 9 minutes and 4 contractions later, baby was here and epi was "turned off". I am so glad he's here and we can start this next chapter of our lives!
