Naming after two deceased people?

My husband has had his two favorite uncles that he was extremely close to pass away in the last 1.5 years. We were thinking about naming the baby after them (John Timothy or Timothy John- both their first names) but is it morbid/wrong/whatever to name a baby after TWO deceased people?? I worry that everyone will be sad when they say his name. My husband says I over think it!

Not at all. My son's named after my great grandads - charlie they were both Charles and my daughter is being named jessica my great grandma and my sos great grandma were Jessie.

I'm Jewish and its tradition to name babies after the deceased. It's an honor.

I guess it's not morbid since my entire family is expecting us to name our son after my deceased uncle especially since he's due on my uncle's birthday. I've thought about it and I like the idea of honoring his life but worry about people associating my baby's birth with a traumatic time in their lives.

My brother is named after 2 uncles, one died in his late teens in a car crash and the other in his 20's by drowning. 
My oldest has my dead fathers first name as a middle name and the boy I'm currently pregnant with might end up with my dead father in laws middle name as a middle name.

We are using my husbands deceased fathers name as our sons middle name and I don't think there is anything wrong with it! I say go for it!

No way is it morbid, it's a lovely gesture! Timothy John can be shortened to TJ which is really cute, and totally his own name. If we have a girl she'll be named after by husband's aunt, Clémentine :)

My son will be partially named after my dad who passed away when I was 8 weeks along. So in honor of both my husband and my dad our son will be named Cade Michael
