I heard something going on in my daughters room so I walked in on her with two other boys in a threesome I became furious, I called their parents and she is now grounded for a month and no more sleepovers for her. Am I a bad mom and what would you do?

I would kick my daughters fucking arse until she never wanted to have sex FULL STOP. I'd probably hospitalise the boys (I'm mean that 100% seriously). How old is your daughter and I'm sorry but what the fuck has she been exposed to to even want to do that? She's obviously young as she is still living with you and can be 'grounded'. In my opinion you are not a 'BAD' enough mother that this even happened in the first place. I don't mean any disrespect but Jesus in heaven...

I am 24 and if my mom ever found out about something like that (not that I have done it), she would KILL MY SORRY ASS!!! (And I am an adult). So NO! Being a good parent some times consists of putting your foot down and making the right decisions, even if your child doesn't acknowledge it at first (she eventually will). The % of STDS (some people have NO idea how many there are and how easily one can get one, when a few of them aren't even curable) and "unwanted" pregnancies are at an all time high. You're not a bad mother in any way! I don't have kids but if/when I do and I caught my daughter doing that I'd be so furious! I'd do the same thing. Yes it is her life- but she's obviously still young (I'm guessing under 18 if she's still able to be grounded) so she really shouldn't even be having sex in your house if you don't allow it. You're still her parents so you set the rules at this time. If that's what she wants to do when she's older and moved out then fine but if she's under 16 then she shouldn't even be having sex yet (legally).
