Is it wrong to get a divorce?

Depends.

If your moral code is against divorce or if your religion forbids it, you have a lot of thinking to do about why you feel that way and whether it is as important to you as your life is. And if your religion or the code you live by wins out, then a divorce is not okay.

If you don't have moral qualms about divorce, then it's absolutely not wrong. You deserve to be with someone who you can communicate openly with, and who is on the same page as you. You should be an equal partner in your relationship and not taken advantage of.

All of that said, if your spouse is abusive you need to get away from them, divorce or no. Just leave, take out cash, and find a motel, then get to whatever government agency or charitable organization that can help you.

I got married when I was 19....I have had to be the only one making money to support us because he can't hold on to a job..I don't know if I love him I can't trust any thing he says he lies to much.....I don't know why but I feel like if I leave him he will fall to pieces and to honest I am getting to the point to were I don't care anymore.....I don't want him anymore he just pisses me off......I feel like I am the guy and he is the woman.....I want a man not a little boy I want to be supported not having to support him!
