First time mom here and I'm getting down to the wire! I'm due in 2 weeks and 2 days and on monday my doctor said I was 1 cm dilated. This morning I went pee and felt a very uncomfortable cramping sensation in my groin/pelvic area. Sort of felt like period cramps (I'm assuming they were contractions), and then I noticed some discharge in my undies. Usually totally normal, I discharge occasionally, but this time I noticed it was a little brown. There wasn't a lot, but it almost looked like the discharge you get during the end of your period cycle, and it looked gooey. My doctor said not to call and bother if my mucus plug does fall out because it could be a day, two days, or even a week before I go into labor. So I'm reaching out to see your opinions on this so I know what to expect.
