After being told by someone here that sex shouldn't be an important part of a relationship, I want to know how many of you agree.

It shouldn't be the main focus your friendship should but it does play a part. It connects you to.

I feel like sex is of top importantace. It connects two people like nothing else can. That being said,  one day life and things will change and sex just will not seem as important.  My marriage means everything to me and I will never throw my vows away because our sex drive changes or were sick or anything else. I promised to love him forever no matter what life my bring... And that is exactly what I will do. We will talk when there is a problem and we will live happily ever after

I believe they meant sex shouldn't be the most important part of your relationship. Some relationships can be sex based. That's not good. But if you have a healthy relationship, strong with communication , similar values, mutual respect and care a healthy sexual relationship should also be there and its a big part (not the only part) of expressing your mutual love

It can be for some people, others not. Now I myself did not wait for marriage but a percentage of people do. They meet someone and are in a relationship with them for year before marriage and during that time they don't have sex. That just shows how little an impact sex should have on a relationship. Now is that always the case? No its not. Some people need sex in a relationship while others don't.

It's different for everyone. I know a couple who barely have sex and are more than happy, then there's my fiancé and I who jump each other's bones every chance we get and have been that way for 9 years. I don't think there's any right or wrong answer!

It's not the most important. The most important part for me is God in my marriage. ( I am not perfect in my marriage. I fail often) but I would say sex is very important to us.
