28 day cycle after miscarriage?

So I just got my period after my miscarriage, it's 28 days from the day I miscarried. I read on a lot of websites and on here it took people 6-8 weeks. But mine was just a normal period cycle. I miscarried at 6 weeks 2 days. Is this normal?

Sorry for your loss.  When did you stop bleeding? Did you doctor track your hcg levels back to zero?  I am going through this now and different things.  It would depend on your body but at my appointment Tuesday my doctor said everything was released and she is going to track my levels to zero.  I read you need to go at least 20 days without bleeding or 3 to 4 weeks from your levels being down to zero.

Everybody is different! Mine was not too much longer than a normal cycle after my miscarriage. They say that sometimes if you are still early in the pregnancy your cycle will go back to normal more quickly.
