Should the government be doing more to stop illegal immigration??

Canada doesn't have as big of an issue at the states because they come down really hard on employers who hire illegals. Also they don't support "anchor" babies. They are given citizenship, but receive none of the benefits that brings if the  parents are illegal. This is a big issue for me. My parents are legal immigrants. They spent a lot of time and money to become citizens here. Why should some people who came illegally get the same rights as they do?? I don't know, I have issues with the whole immigration thing. Lol

I have no problem with people coming here from other countries legally. What I do have a problem with is those coming here without a green card or authorized citizenship. Why should welfare in my state be given to those people instead of me if I need it. Why should jobs in my state be given to those people instead of me when I need to work and provide for my family. If I decided to sneak into another country those people would be on my ass faster then white on rice. And just in case anyone wants to debate my statement or has an issue with what I said, no, I'm not racist and no I don't care if you like it or not.

I have heard people call others racist, simply for not being okay with ILLEGAL immigration. I have no problem with immigrants. America is made up of immigrants from all over the world! I have a problem with people coming over here, illegally, and trying to reap the benefits of our society. There are so many nice, hardworking people I know that were not born in this country. They went through all the necessary channels and became citizens. And guess what? Most of them appreciate their freedom here more than many of the Americans I know that were born in the States. Now Obama wants to grant amnesty to 5 million people that didn't do it that way. How is that fair?

My uncle is an illegal in America 
He has lived there since 1988 his 2 children were born and raised in America and have American passports. 
He has done absolutely everything to get a green card but keeps being rejected. Not sure why tbh 
His wife is also an illegal she's been there since 1994
They married in England in 1997 
They both have their own businesses there too.

I think as well as doing more to discourage illegal immigration they should also be trying to help those achieve a legal status.
