Breakouts

I'm in my mid 20s and for the past few months I've been breaking out horribly, as a teen I would get a few every now and then, but nothing I was ever worried about. I've never dealt with this and I'm so self conscious because of it. I've been to the dermatologist twice and it seems like nothing is working. Advice please!
