Sharp pains?

Hi everyone. I am 16 and sexually active (though not frequently because I'm in an LDR). I am on my second week of taking the pill, and for the past 2 weeks, I have been feeling sharp bursts of pain in my lower abdomen/vaginal area. I'm not sure what to make of this. Especially since my mom is BRCA positive and I haven't been tested to see if I am, I've started to worry about it more now that I'm older. Does anyone know what these pains are? They aren't pregnancy pains for sure- I know that for a fact.
