Period blood colour 🌹🌹🌹

Ok I'm curious about this, the colour of my blood varies a lot during my period. But it's completely random?! Sometimes it's bright red, sometimes it dark brown or sometimes close to black. My period is regular and on time, so there hasn't been any over due brewing. Any ideas? x
