Some news/updates
So...finally got a positive opk yesterday morning!! Wahoo!
Also got in to talk to my doctor yesterday morning to discuss an issue I had when I was 20. It's called Factor V Leiden mutation in my genes which causes blood clotting. I had a clot from missing one day of BC pills and taking two the next day - wasn't a smoker either so definitely confirmed it was from the estrogen spike. But, when I was 20 I did not want to have kids. Fast forward to now and that has all changed.
I still have the mutation and after talking to my mom decided that I should probably get in to see my doctor as to how this is going to affect me with ttc.
I'm on baby aspirin everyday now along with prenatals yet but now when I get a positive hpt I have to start on Lovanox (blood thinner injections) everyday for the duration of the pregnancy and afterwards for a few months.
I have read success stories about women with FVL and taking baby aspirin and getting a bfp so prayers would be amazing!!
