Legality surround breastfeeding in Iowa
Been struggling at work with a couple coworker slamming my 2 15 min pumping breaks a day. One comment they made to my boss is that I take 4-5 pumping breaks a days. That's a lie, I pump at 9:30am and again at 12:30. Never have I taken more than 2 in the day.. My boss asked me about it and I let her know my exact schedule each day. She was very understanding. Well today a coworker told me about how some of the other ladies just to say I was taking naps and just messing around instead of pumping. This floored me. Any momma out there knows 1) the importance of the frequency of pumping and not skipping a pump and 2) that 15 mins is about how long it takes to assembly everything to pump and pump 12oz( 6 out of each side). I feel like this is a form of harassment. I worked too hard to get where I am at with my 100% breastfed baby! I should not be subject to these lies in the work place.
